2009年-2010年,在美国俄亥俄州立大学植物生物技术中心做访问学者;
2003年至今,在中国科学院植物研究所历任助理研究员、副研究员、研究员。

长期从事葡萄学研究。主要包括:1)葡萄特异种质资源的评价、关键基因挖掘及新种质创制;2)葡萄抗逆性(耐热性)和次生代谢(白藜芦醇)调控机制; 3)葡萄新品种的示范与应用。研究在Nature Communication,Plant Cell,Plant Physiology,Journal of Experimental Botany, Food Chemistry等期刊发表论文60余篇,出版专著2部。授权专利5项,培育葡萄新品种13个。2004年获北京市科学技术二等奖;2010年获中国林学会全国梁希青年论文一等奖;2017年获中国科学院科技促进发展奖; 2018年获中国园艺学会华耐园艺科技奖特等奖。
