长期从事果蔬采后生物学研究。主要包括:1)果蔬采后病害发生的机制及其控制技术;2)病原真菌毒素合成和调控的分子机制及其控制技术。研究在New Phytologist,Journal of Hazardous Materials,Journal of Advanced Research,Food Chemistry,Postharvest Biology and Technology,Environmental Microbiology等期刊发表论文130余篇。授权专利15项。获得省部级科技奖励8项。
