工作经历
2002年-2003年，在韩国成均馆大学、英国皇家植物园丘园从事博士后研究工作/做访问学者；
2001年至今，在中国科学院植物研究所历任助理研究员、副研究员。

长期从事植物系统与分类学研究，重点关注禾本科，先后完成多部国家级重大志书《中国植物志》、《Flora of China》、《中国高等植物》、《中国药用植物志》、《中国生物物种名录》、《中国维管植物科属志》等禾本科部分的编研。结合国家需求，对第二代能源植物芒草（禾本科）进行了种质资源的全面调查和收集，并积极推进芒草种质资源的选育和推广。在中国大部分省区，以及俄罗斯、巴基斯坦北部克什米尔地区、尼泊尔、越南、韩国、印度尼西亚等国家和地区，开展了广泛的植物调查和资源收集工作，对中国植物区系和植物资源开发利用有较为深入的认识和理解。目前已发表论著70余篇部，获批国家自然科学基金委面上项目4项。其中，作为作者参加“《中国植物志》的编研”项目，于2009年获国家自然科学奖一等奖。
