长期从事植物进化发育研究。主要包括:1)植物叶性器官排列方式建立和转变的分子机制;2)植物叶片及花器官进化发育的分子机制;3)植物花序进化的分子机制。研究在Science Advances,New Phytologist,Journal of Experimental Botany,American Journal of Botany,Journal of Plant Research,Quantitative Plant Biology,Botany等期刊发表论文13篇。
