2003年-2005年,在中国科学院植物研究所从事博士后研究工作;
2004年-2005年,在瑞士日内瓦国立大学做访问学者;
2005年-2006年,在韩国釜山国立大学做访问学者
2005年至今,在中国科学院植物研究所任副研究员。

长期从事光合生理及生理生态研究。主要包括:1)经济作物产量形成的光合作用机制;2)植物光适应评价;3)循环农业。相关研究在Plant Physiology, Journal of Experimental Botany, Photosynthesis Research,Physiologia Plantarum, Plant Physiology & Biochemistry, Environmental & Experimental Botany, Field Crop Research, European Journal of Agronomy,Industrial Crops Products和中国科学 等期刊发表论文100篇;授权专利4项。
